Went to 7Eleven before heading to a buddy’s house for the Mandalorian season premiere. After leaving 7Eleven all was good, came up to a light and my foot went nearly to the floor with the brake pedal.

Pumped the pedal a few times and it was slowing down but like maybe 5% braking force.

But we got this. Coming up to a light and braking from a distance and it was slowing down, foot on the floor, a little pressure.

Got to my buddy’s house who happens to be my mechanic and we took a gander. Well, the good news is all my calipers looked good. Bad news is the piss streak of brake fluid I left down the street from an “inner rupture” inside my brake line. Yay.

I had a ride home. We left the 250 at his house. Will slow drive it to his shop on Monday after topping off the fluid. How’s your Friday Oppo?

May I suggest nickel-copper replacement lines, they bend and flare sooo nicely

I did this once in a F150 that blew a wheel cylinder. Luckily it was a stick so engine braking good. I limped it home from work.

That was the first of 3 times that truck tried to kill me.

He was quick to give me a specific brand he uses (they regularly d o drag cars and such ) but I was like nah, paying you to do it (partially because I absolutely hated bleeding my brakes)

Had an abundantly meaty lunch thanks to a mission BBQ gift card from work.

(Only like 1/3 for lunch)

Also mission BBQ is expensive AF. That would have been $46.

Pizza at friends house. Friend drove me home. Scotch tonight for therapy. Though normally I'm more end of the world thinking with some fixes.. this one I'm like meh, easy fix.

Been there! Not fun! I was on my way to the interstate towing a trailer full of scooters when it blew too. Glad it let loose when it did!
